The purposes of these Information Quality Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are:
* to ensure and maximize the quality, objectivity, utility, and integrity of
information, including statistical information, disseminated by the U.S.
Small Business Administration (SBA);
* to establish an administrative mechanism to allow affected persons to seek
and obtain a correction of information maintained and disseminated by the
SBA if it does not comply with the OMB Guidelines or these Guidelines; and
* to comply with the Office of Management and Budget’s “Guidelines for
Ensuring and Maximizing the Quality, Objectivity, Utility, and Integrity
of Information Disseminated by Federal Agencie s,” effective January 3,
2002, 67 FR 8452 (Feb. 22, 2002) (“OMB Guidelines”).
