Kansas City – The U.S. Small Business Administration is informing small businesses that a new application for GSA's Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) and GSA Technology Contracts will allow them to conduct business with the federal government from their cell phone or tablet.  The General Services Administration (GSA) recently released a mobile version of their MAS website called eBuy.  eBuy allows small businesses to monitor bidding opportunities on the go and receive text message alerts on new products and services the federal government might need.

“The federal government is the largest purchaser of goods and services in the world and small businesses often do not have the resources or staff to actively monitor the GSA’s bid website.  The eBuy ap allows small businesses to receive immediate notification of bidding opportunities and this increases their chance to compete more effectively,” said Kansas City SBA District Director Roderick M. Cox.”

Working side-by-side with federal agencies and major prime contractors across the United States, the SBA monitors the small business contracting program to help federal agencies meet their small business procurement goals through contracts and subcontracts.
