About Colorado District Office

The Colorado District Office is responsible for the delivery of SBA's programs and services throughout Colorado.

Services Available

  • Free counseling, advice and information and low cost training for starting a business through SCORE, "Counselors to America's Small Business."

  • Financial assistance for new or existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders. The Colorado District Office assisted 2,808 businesses in obtaining $545million in loans in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007. For more information, call 303 844-2607.

  • Free counseling services through the Colorado network of Small Business Development Centers. SBDCs also conduct training workshops throughout the district for a reasonable fee.

  • Assistance to businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals through the Minority Enterprise Development Program.

  • Women's Business Ownership Representatives are available to advise women business owners. For additional information on women or other special emphasis areas, call us at (303) 844-2607.

  • Special loan programs are available for businesses involved in international trade.

  • If you're a credit-worthy veteran, you can get a guaranteed loan. Our Veterans Affairs Officer is available to assist you.
