THE NORTH FLORIDA DISTRICT OFFICE
The SBA North Florida District Office is located in Jacksonville, and serves the following 43 counties: Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Calhoun, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Hernando, Holmes, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Marion, Nassau, Okaloosa, Orange, Putnam, Santa Rosa, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington.
The District Director is Wilfredo J. Gonzalez. The District Office is located at 7825 Baymeadows Way, Suite 100B, Jacksonville, FL. Office hours are from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Counseling and Mentoring

Access to Capital
SBA offers financial assistance in the form of guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders to businesses that may not otherwise qualify for traditional funding. Interested parties should contact their bank of record regarding SBA Loans. A list of participating lenders is available on the North Florida District Office homepage.
The Microloan program provides small loans ranging from under $500 to $50,000 to entrepreneurs. Contact information for Micro lenders is available on the North Florida District Office homepage.
SBA 8(a) certification may be an option for socially and economically disadvantaged business owners that have been in business for at least 3 years. To learn more about the 8(a) program, or to determine your eligibility contact the North Florida District Office at (904)443-1900 and ask to speak to a Business Opportunity Specialist. You may also contact the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) www.fptac.org, for technical assistance related to government contracting.
