Business Continuity Strategies offered at Free SBA/Agility Webinar

WASHINGTON – The arrival of wintry weather brings with it many seasonal threats that can result in business interruption, from a flu outbreak that decimates your staff to flooding caused by frozen pipes that explode to an ice storm that knocks out your power.

The pending arrival of these threats makes this a good time to make a plan that will keep your business operating, regardless of what the severe weather brings. Join Agility Recovery and the U.S. Small Business Administration on Tuesday, Nov. 13, for practical tips to mitigate winter weather risks.

SBA has partnered with Agility to offer business continuity strategies through its “PrepareMyBusiness” website. Visit to access previous webinars and for additional preparedness tips.

“South Florida businesses can  be affected by cold temperatures, frost, and secondary effects of winter storms elsewhere in the nation,” said SBA South Florida District Director Francisco “Pancho” Marrero.  “I encourage South Florida business leaders to participate in this SBA webinar to be more prepared for the unexpected this winter.”
