PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland District Office is pleased to recognize the following lending institutions for their notable efforts to facilitate access to capital for small business owners. It is with the support of the lending community and stimulus provisions in the Small Business Jobs Act that the Portland District Office was able to capture record loan approval numbers in 2011. A network of over 70 lenders delivered a milestone $308 million in capital to small businesses using SBA loan programs.
“We appreciate the commitment of all our lending partners to providing access to capital to nearly 900 small business owners and entrepreneurs in 2011,” said Robert DuCotè, Deputy District Director. “This year’s awardees are top performers in the categories and deserve special recognition for their performance.”
