Boston, MA – Today, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that Heidrea Communications LLC. - owned by Jesse G. Brown and Matt Mastroianni- has been selected to receive the prestigious Massachusetts SBA Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year Award for 2013.
The selection for this award was based on the following criteria: staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales and/or unit volume, current and past financial reports, innovation of product or service, and response to adversity and community contributions. Heidrea Communications was nominated for this award by Anne Trevisani, a Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer for South Eastern Economic Development Corporation.
Heidrea Communications LLC was established by Mr. Brown and Mr. Mastroianni in 2007, and is a general contracting firm specializing in the wireless industry. The primary focus of Heidrea is tower construction and maintenance throughout New England. The firm offers a full range of electrical services ranging from electrical service, civil engineering, carpentry, HVAC, and steel fabrication. More than 30% of its employees are United States Veterans.
