BOSTON – The U.S. Small Business Administration, in co-sponsorship with the Hispanic-American Chamber of Commerce, will host a free “Meet the Lender: Connecting with Capital” event with 20 different sources of capital on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The event will involve speed networking, where small businesses can select the lenders or business advisors they wish to meet with in 12 different rounds of one-on-one discussions. The event will help entrepreneurs connect with sources of capital to help start or grow their businesses.
“We at the SBA are so excited to see so many different sources of capital in the same room to help Massachusetts small businesses get the resources they need to achieve growth,” said SBA Massachusetts District Director Bob Nelson. “Whether a small business owner is looking for information on a micro-loan through a community lender, a surety bond, or a traditional business loan, this event should be able to provide what they are looking for.”
This is a first time event of this kind and scope is taking place in Massachusetts and is another example of the efforts SBA and its partners are making to deliver on their commitment to help small businesses to secure badly needed support to help continue growth in the Commonwealth.
Lenders/Resources participating at the event include:
