WILMINGTON, DEL.— The SBA’s Delaware District Office announced that the winner of the Agency’s 2013 “Delaware Small Business Exporter of the Year” award is Zerowait Corporation. Presidentially-appointed SBA Region 3 Administrator Natalia Olson-Urtecho will join SBA Delaware Acting District Director John Fleming at Zerowait Corporation on May 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. to introduce the business as the 2013 title holder. The event will be open to the media.

Zerowait Corporation provides cost-effective data storage systems and technical support worldwide. Founded in Delaware in 1991, Zerowait began exporting in 1991 and offers its services worldwide. Zerowait maintains depots in the United Kingdom and Australia, but all equipment that it supplies is received, refurbished and shipped from its Delaware facility.
Zerowait Corporation was nominated for SBA’s “Delaware Small Business Exporter of the Year” by George Mills, Vice President, M&T Bank. SBA’s “Delaware Small Business Exporter of the Year” award winner is selected annually from among nominees located across the state of Delaware.
Bruce Elliott, 1150 AM WILM/1450 WDOV Programming Director and Host of “Elliott in the Morning” will present the award to Michael Linett, President, Zerowait Corporation, and July Linett, Vice President, Operations, Zerowait Corporation, at Delaware’s annual “SBA Small Business Awards” event May 21. The event starts with a 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. awards ceremony and dinner at Deerfield Public Golf and Grille, 507 Thompson Station Road, Newark, Del. 19711. Prior to the ceremony, ceremony attendees are invited to participate in a golf outing at Deerfield, with tee times between 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. The event will be open to the media. This May 21, 2013 event is a local observance of the annual National Small Business Week, which will be observed this year June 17-21. National Small Business Week recognizes the small business community’s contribution to the American economy and culminates in the announcement of the National Small Business Person of the Year.
