Camron Doss is the District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration Portland District Office. Doss is responsible for the delivery of the SBA's programs and services throughout most of Oregon and four counties in Southwest Washington. Doss oversees a staff of ten that promotes access to capital, federal procurement opportunities, and business development assistance in cooperation through more than 60 area lenders, 21 Small Business Development Centers, six SCORE Chapters, and one Women's Business Center and Veteran’s Business Outreach Center.
Doss has 15 years of federal service. Prior to joining the SBA, he served as Director of the U.S. General Services Administration Southern Service Center, where he delivered workspace solutions for clients in federally owned and leased buildings with a total of 4.2 million square feet.
Doss’ years of federal service include work as a Real Property Management Intern, Contracting Officer, Asset Manager, Supervisory Property Manager, and Service Center Director. He worked in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Little Rock and Portland GSA offices. Prior to the GSA, he worked as a Park Ranger Interpreter and an On-campus Recruiter for the U.S. National Park Service.
Doss received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications and public relations from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He completed his MBA in business management at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Initially, he attended law school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. Currently, he is a Juris Doctor degree candidate focusing on business law at Lewis & Clark Law School.
Throughout his career, Doss has received numerous accolades. In addition, he is active in his community, where he has volunteered and served many organizations. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Doss and his wife, Felicia, have two sons, Cayden and Christian.
