Central Contractor Registry (CCR) & Dynamic Small Business Search / PRO-Net

• CCR registration required for all federal government vendors and available free of charge
• PRO-Net supplemental data recommended for small firms seeking federal, and private sector contracts
• Provides opportunity to create, view and update business profile
• Provides access to government and private sector buyers looking for qualified vendors through CCR's Dynamic Small Business Search
• Register on-line at ccr.gov followed by supplemental small businesses data entry (PRO-Net)

8(a) Business Development Program

• Available to businesses that:
  • meet SBA’s small business size standards
  • have been operating for at least two years prior to application
  • are owned at least 51% by U. S. citizens
  • are owned at least 51% by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals
• Socially disadvantaged groups include:
  • Black American
  • Hispanic American
  • Native American
  • Asian Pacific American
  • Subcontinent Asian American
  • Others must provide evidence as to how they have been discriminated
• Economically disadvantaged businesses must have:
  • personal net worth of $250,000 or less, excluding primary residence and equity in business
  • a product or service regularly purchased by the federal government

HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program

• Available to businesses that are:
  • located in an eligible "Historically Underutilized Business Zone" (HUBZone)
  • owned and controlled by one or more U. S. citizens; and
  • at least 35% of its employees must be HUBZone residents
• Provides "place-based" opportunities for both federal prime contract and subcontract benefits
• Determine HUBZone status by visiting SBA’s HUBZone web site
• Electronic application available on HUBZone web site

Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) - Self-Certification through Central Contractor Registry (CCR)

Available to businesses that:

Firms can now "self-certify" using the Corporate Information page of the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database if they meet the qualifications previously noted.  See page 20 of CCR's New Registration Screenshots
