MONTPELIER, Vt. – The U.S. Small Business Administration and KeyBank will host “Bank on SBA” events at four Vermont KeyBank branches throughout May.
At each “Bank on SBA” event, representatives will be available to discuss various SBA loans available to current and aspiring business owners.
“We encourage people to come out and speak face-to-face with representatives to get information about SBA loans,” said Darcy Carter, SBA Vermont District Office director. “Together, the SBA and KeyBank can assist business owners in determining which loan program best suits their needs.”
KeyBank is an SBA preferred lender. The Preferred Lenders Program (PLP) is part of SBA's effort to streamline the procedures necessary to provide financial assistance to small businesses. Under the PLP program, SBA delegates the final credit decision to carefully selected lenders.
During the events, the SBA representative will also be able to discuss technical assistance for starting or growing a business, government contracting and disaster recovery programs.
The sessions are open to the public and will take place at the following Vermont KeyBank branches:
- 80 West St., Suite 102 located in Rutland from 9 to 11 a.m. May 15
- 300 Interstate Corp Center, Suite 120 located in Williston from 9 to 11 a.m. May 16
- 1795 Williston Rd., Suite 110 located in South Burlington from noon to 2 p.m. May 16
- 201 South Wanton Rd. located in St. Albans from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. May 21
