Sacramento, CA – SBA’s Houston District Director Manuel R. González announced today that SBA is moving its Harris County Disaster Loan Outreach Center to a new location. “The center, which originally opened at the City of Houston’s Department of Health and Human Services at 800 North Stadium Drive, will relocate on Thursday, February 2 to the Sunnyside Multi-Service Center at 4605 Wilmington in Houston, Texas.
The SBA announced on Monday that low-interest federal disaster loans are now available to Texas residents and business owners affected by the flooding and severe storms that occurred on January 9 in Harris County. The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Harris County and the neighboring counties of Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller.
“Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, nonprofit organizations whose property was damaged or destroyed by the disaster,” said González. “SBA customer service representatives will continue to be on hand at the Disaster Loan Outreach Center’s new location to issue loan applications, answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process, and help each individual complete their application.” The center will be open on the days and times indicated. No appointment is necessary.
