BLM Proposes Rules to Regulate Hydraulic Fracking on Public Land
The Bureau of Land management is proposing a rule that would require disclosure to the public of chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing on public and Indian land, strengthen regulations related to well-bore integrity, and address issues related to flowback water.
Comments on the proposed rule are due before July 10, 2012.
