The Voting Period for SBA’s Export Video Contest is NOW OPEN

In August, we announced the Export Video Contest, asking small businesses to submit their exporting stories through YouTube videos for a chance to win cash prizes and a monetary award towards a future export event. The contest, presented in partnership with Visa and the President’s National Export Initiative, recognizes successful small exporters and helps get the word out about federal tools available to help U.S. exporters expand into new markets, grow their companies and spur job creation.

You responded. We received entries from companies doing business in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, representing diverse industries from personal care products to healthcare innovations and residential water solutions.

The videos are in, and a panel of judges has selected the finalists in each of five categories. Now it’s your turn to vote for the best video!

Voting Instructions

There are two different ways to vote:

1.)    You can "Like" your favorite finalist video on the SBA Facebook page under the "VIDEOS" tab

2.)    You can "Like" (thumbs-up) your favorite finalist video on YouTube. Here are links to the videos on YouTube:

My vote goes for the Consumer Products category. I think its pretty amazing for Maria Walley's company to export to 3 countries after 2 years. I had no idea you can grow a business that fast.
I like the technology one : Exported From Detroit, however I know I'm a little late casting my vote here.
My vote goes to the professional services category.
I wish I could have voted, great videos nonetheless!
Useful information, many thanks to the author. Very much thanks again and best of luck! Internet marketing company India
Running an export management company requires considerable knowledge of international trade. Reinke explains the steps he goes through in one case: First, you have to figure out where in the world demand for the goods is highest. That requires looking at trade statistics and doing marketing research. Then you have to combine that research with knowledge of the relevant tariff rates. Next, Reinke says he contacts companies that manufacture similar products to the one he is trying to export but that are not in direct competition—for example, if you're trying to sell a sort of industrial valve, you would look at where companies that sell a different kind of valve have found buyers abroad. Technology is my favourite. Dieta para diabeticos Utter.
You can vote for as many of the videos as you wish on both YouTube and Facebook. Xanax dosage Voting closes at 12 Noon (Eastern) on October 28, 2011 Xanax Side Effects . Only votes cast through one of the official Xanax Drug Interactions voting methods will count.
I missed the boat for voting, but those are some pretty great videos.
I wonder how this turned out because if you can vote on as many videos as you want, then isn't that kind of like and "everybody is a winner" thing?
