American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

Note: The ARRA (Recovery Act) initiatives and/or programs referenced in this article will expire on September 30, 2010. Any statements about qualifying time periods, or extensions of these dates, as they pertain to the availability of ARRA programs are over-ridden by the expiration of the Act on September 30, 2010.
This week President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Read the full bill here to read the final text of the legislation. There are a number of provisions in the act for small businesses including ways for business to get loans and venture capital. Check out this summary from the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship .
Check out Recovery.gov to figure out where the money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is going. Here you can find information on it's impact and frequently asked questions. As the money gets distributed by Federal agencies, you will be able to see where it's going.
