New Videos on How You Can Get a Business Counselor

As one of SBA's resource partners, SCORE has provided counseling and mentoring to small business owners and entrepreneurs for the past 40 years.  There are over 13,000 SCORE volunteers working in 364 chapters across the country.  Last year, SCORE counselors helped create over 71,000 jobs.

Now they have a new website, and an inspiring new series of videos featuring small business owners like you who have grown their business with help from SCORE volunteers.  You can watch the whole series on their website.

This is such a great news and a great idea also. I believe its more important to promote investment and financial education. Also it is solely important that government promotes alternative business opportunities. They should encourage people to do small businesses in addition to their other mainstream professions (if any). Yes I have heard a lot about score here lately on the news online. This video is pretty interesting so I will be definitely checking out the rest of their video series at their website here in a little bit.

I referred several people to SCORE over the past year, after I became aware of the benefits. It really is amazing that so many talented people give their expertise so freely, and that is the real beauty of small business and why it is so important to the economy. The range of expertise is really quite amazing. Getting started and covering all the bases, such as creating the right structure, organizing bank accounts and learning how to get paperwork done are probably the most important things to get right, up front. We had help for our independent news business and that is why we're still going, seven years on. My only regret is that we didn't continue that and get help with marketing. Thank you for supporting SCORE, it is really worth its weight in gold.
