If no government grant exists for financial research on alternative energy companies, can I write up and submit a grant proposal? To whom should we submit the grant proposal idea???

There are a couple of places to submit white papers - look into SBIR and STTR as well as the SBA. The SBA through its office of advocacy does request certain research topics from time to time. Also, try - https://www.fbo.gov/

Hi jmoscoso, Have you looked into grants.gov? They may be in a better position to help you. You can contact them regarding a grant proposal. Does anyone else have any ideas? Feel free to add!
