Hi paperofheart,
There is no law that states you have to be a certain age to own a business, but most states usually require that the business owner is over the age of 18 to enter into a legal contact, which is usually required at some point in owning a business.
Minors can enter contracts when their parents sign on their behalf. You can read more about legalities for young entrepreneurs here.

That differs from person to person. I don't know why you are asking this question. Since there are no age barrier for entering in to online venures, now a day even teens at an age of 15 are starting business. Hope this is useful to you.
I guess there is no age control. You can get hold of any hosting supplier and kick off the online business as you wish.

What a wonderful opportunity for young business people to get started. With a low cost of entry, the ability to test various marketing strategies and the limitless upside potential of the internet your only boundaries are your imagination.
Remember not to listen to all the people that say you can not do it. They all fall into one of several categories...
Wished they had thought of the idea themselves.
They do not think they could do it and therefore think you can not either.
Lazy leaches of the society that think the producers owe them something.
Close friends and family members can be the most damaging when they are negative. ( My parents and voiced criticism and negative feelings when I first got started)
Best wishes in your business and keep us posted.

paperofheart,
It is my understanding that there is no age requirement to start an online business. Anyone can register a domain name and have a website created and published. There is a requirement to enter into a contract for it to be a valid contract. That may cause some 'roadblocks' to doing some business. Also if you want to structure the entity as an LLC or Corporation there may be some age requirements. You may want to have a parent or guardian that can assist with the legal paperwork and contracts as needed until the legal age is me. I dont think age should stop the entrepreneur spirit! Good luck! As stated - no real age requirement - but make sure you have some over 18 who can sign contracts or you may have a hard time working with other companies.
