I am an American from Nevada who want to start an export business. I don't currently have an address in Nevada because I am studying abroad. What should I do if I want to have my company based there while operating an export business overseas? Can I still file for a company while studying abroad and have my paperwork sent overseas?
Furthermore, while initially conducting 100% of my business with foreign buyers and suppliers how does this impact my tax situation, including any normal tax deductions? Basically, do I still have to pay taxes to the U.S. government if 100% of my initial business is conducted abroad?

Hi Mr_Munroe,
Assuming you are a U.S. citizen, you can start a business in Nevada by following the steps in NV State Guide. You need to select a location in NV in order to register your business with the state.
Since your business would be located in NV, you will have to pay federal and NV taxes.
Does anyone else have suggestions about starting a business in the US when abroad?
