We are running a web design company in Atlanta (Been up for about a year or two). We are exceptionally talented at what we do, but I always look for great advice into running our business. I fear that this may be where we are a bit weaker. My question is...
1) We are looking into marketing in different ways for our company. What is probably the best way to market locally to say the area of Atlanta and outer Atlanta in your oppinion.
• Both online (craigslist, backpage) and offline classified advertising work well
• Case Study - Pick a local business to give your service to for FREE
• Create your own web properties for the long-term
I agree with the above plus I would add the following
We advertise our web design company online, but get lots of business through word of mouth. Local business networking events are great - try your local chamber of commerce.
Also, try and specialise in a particular industry - once you get two or three clients in the same vertical it becomes a lot easier to get further clients in that same business.
