I am in the process of doing financial projections for a business plan. Where
I'm stuck is finding reliable market data. I would like to know how I can go
about finding what jobs are available for bid, and is something I will need
to get in touch with soon anyway. This will also give me something to base my
projections on.
Most states have a purchasing department. I did a quick Google search and
found that the Alaska Department of Administration handles state purchasing.
Usually, you register (for free) with the purchasing agency, then you can
often receive email notification when a contract requiring your expertise
becomes available.
