I believe that this place purpose is to share knowledge and help people and point them in the right direction. I believe that the information exchange is already a great benefit that we can get from this forum and believe me I had got some great idea just by reading post here. It had open my eyes on how people see things differently and that rival my own ideas and by reading their post I see to it that I do get their point. I believe the knowledge that we gain here is already reward enough. ofcourse thats how I see it :) Just my taughts

One nice feature that the Business.Gov community handles on a monthly basis is their member spotlight feature. If chosen, it's a fun thing to take part in, getting the chance to talk to someone about your business who is completely outside of your niche.

Sure, this place is to get info. Sure,the infois probably award enough. But that's no reason you can't award/reward members for doing good. I noticed that Business.gov got some awards. Did you not get any of these awards for something where the experience itself would actuallyhave been reward enough? When people play sports, most people play them for fun. Is not the fun reward enough? Yet many athletes not only get awards and trophies, they even get paid. Most of these athletes would have played for the shear fun of it. Also, I have no idea as to your resources. If awarding somebody a certificate or something is too costly, I can understand. If public recognition of the person or business exhibiting exemplary service or practices, maybe in the form of a feature articleon theBusiness.gov website is too much trouble, I could even understand that. But dismissing the idea because the knowledge that we gain here is already reward enough the wayjthorf looks at it is pretty messed up. Of course thats how I see it..
