Is it possible that I can get a grant for a food truck to sale my baked
goods? I want to start off small before I actually start to search for a
bigger business. If so what steps do I need to take to get my business off
the ground?

business unless you have invented a new technology that is in the national
interest. Also, any business that involves selling food to the public is
highly regulated. You will need to bake in a commercial kitchen and it and
your truck will need to be regularly inspected and licensed.
You may want to visit with a counselor at a small business development
center, women's business center or SCORE office in your area. Their services
are free and they can help you create your business plan. As you do the
research for your plan, you will find the legal requirements with which you
will need to comply. You will also be able to develop a financial plan, which
you will need before approaching anyone for a loan.
