What dates should I put in for the Start Date and End Date. The reason I'm a
little confused is because when filling out the cash in bank cell in the
assets section it says it must match Cash flow Cash position year 3.

Thanks for checking out our new Business Plan tool. This is just one of the suggestions; the Balance Sheet isn’t actually set for one year. You can enter any amount of time in the Start Date and End Date fields on the Balance Sheet. This validation was recommended because the Balance Sheet usually displays information up to three years and is a standard validation for business plans. Hope this helps!

A balance sheet usually covers a year - January 1 to December 31. However,
you can also create monthly and/or quarterly balance sheets. If you start
your business in June, your annual balance sheet will still cover the period
January 1 to December 31. It just won't show any income or expenses for the
first six months.
