I like to become an accredited online  'peer reviewer' for grant applications received in different US Federal Government Departments and Agencies. Please advise

Hi Ved, Thanks for sharing your story. Would you mind also sharing how you found out about being a peer reviewer at SBA? Is there a link you could provide? This will help us track down information about how to find the status of a peer reviewer application. -SteveM

VEDGUPTA, As BizResearcher mentioned, you need expertise in certain areas in order to be selected as a peer reviewer, such as national service, volunteer management, education, etc. What is your background and expertise? I did a search and found the following agencies who are recruiting grant peer reviewers. Here are some examples: The Institute of Museum of Library Services The Institute of Education and Sciences AmeriCorps There are positions available at the state level as well.

Hi Christine   Thanks for your valuable information.   Yes, I am a professional having long working experience in multi-areas including business development besides good academic background. I made and reviewed many types of proposals, reports and projects (i.e. quotations for financial requirement) during my long service career. At present I am writing articles on various topics with two prestigous freelance companies in U.S. besides consulting services in business developmet (marketing, brand promotional etc)   I already approached U.S. Small Business Administartion, Washington D.C. for 'peer reviewer'. I am yet to hear from them.   May I request you to please help me to get 'peer reviewer' assignment with an agency(ies) including SBA.   Kind regards   Ved

Do you have expertise in a particular field that would uniquely qualify you to review certain types of grants? If so, contact the federal agency that issues grants in that field and offer your services along with your CV.
