Hi Everyone! I started my own business last year, so I am a newbie and I am getting into govenment contracts. I am lucky b/c it has been easy for me to find opportunities and now I am bidding on one.
The only problem is I keep finding websites that show me the content its suppose to have. This is not my problem. I am fully aware of the content, I just have never seen an example of one to know what it looks like.
I am wondering am I gonna have to pay someone because I dont want to screw this up. I'm usually good once I see something, formatting my own but I cant find ANY on the internet.
Can you guys please help me out. I read in another thread gsa.gov has samples, but went there and none. And please no ' google it ' responses because I have googled every combination of words you can possibly thing of just to see an example of a response to a rfp. If you guys can help me out, I would so much appreciate it.
I'd just like to see what the format looks like. I know it changes specific to the proposal or agency but thats okay, I just want to see one.
I don't really think the format is really as important as you're making it out to be. If you already have all of the information that is supposed to be included, and you can present it nicely on paper, I don't think it really matters that much. There are services out there to help you write contracts, but they may be really expensive.
I would recommend trying a company like Buildproof.com. They can help you with proposals and contracts.

Hi: A similar question was posted in the Sample RFP discussion. I recommended contacting your Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for assistance on how to build a bid. PTAC offers in-person help and free training opportunities.
SBA also has two the following training courses:

Government Contracting Workshop
In terms of what GSA has to help, you can contact the Office of Small Business Utilization (SBU). Here are some other links I found that offer tips or training from GSA:
