If you follow the news, the hardest hit group when it comes to job loss seems to be us Boomers...those of us over 50 that are being put out to pasture as businesses look to cut expenses. Our hiring prospects seem bleak as we are seen as overly qualified, and thus less likely to stay around when something better comes along. Which means we need to look at carving out our own niche to get through until retirement. Would seem to me, there is some merit in seeing us join together as Boomers, pool our talents and years of knowledge into various start-ups of our own, or as a consulting business for the younger crowd here on this site.
What if Business.gov could be a match maker, pairing up young and old, the best of different generations in small business start ups.
