Business from local to global

As an entrepreneur we all dream of making our baby businesws a global brand.; I have read lot of business books and litreature. But, as a owner when you are seated on the hot seat and with pressure of everyday operations and cash-flow, how do you maintain the focus on innovationa and pioneering the field you are in. I found it TOUGH.  Sometimes finance and motivation both are missing. As a small business its very tough market, to survive.
