I am currently working on my business plan for a start-up business. The
location I initally wanted is out of my price range. I have a specific
builidng location in mind but may change it if I find another location in the
same city that better suits my needs. I also may need to change if someone
grabs that location before me. Do I need to include a specific building
location in my business plan or can I just name the city for the proposed
location?

Check out the resources available in our Creating a Business Plan section. Another great resource is SCORE, one of SBA's resource partners. SCORE is a nonprofit association comprised of thousands of volunteer business counselors throughout the country. They are trained to serve as advisors and mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners (at no cost to you). You can find your local office or set up an online meeting to chat with someone about your questions. Good Luck.
