I just signed up to Adsubmitter (having difficulties registering which I will call them about during the day). I'm also looking at similar services. Are these worth it for getting ads distributed far & wide on sites where they will be seen? Also, while I paid a one time fee, the terms talk about recurring charges which are not specified- can I use Adsubmitter successfully without incurring such charges? What other services are available which will give me good service in distributing my ads & business info? Thanks.

Thanks for your comment. We try to remove content that is self promotional, including irrelevant posts that you mention. However, sometimes some escape us. If you see a post that should be removed, you can flag it as abuse for moderation attention.

ok, it's a little bit like an advertisment to recommend our widepr.com - free press release submission and distribution service
BUT:
It is on topic and our services are free - So where is the problem? I think disussions about 1000 backlinks for 10$ services and so on should be banned because that's normally blog and bookmark spam that could become a boomerang - if we are talking about GoogleRankings and Searchresults.

Oh man, Erin. I wish I would have seen this earlier. Those types of services are horrid, the worst, and Google doesn't like them which hurts your organic search engine rankings in the long run. Had I seen this post earlier I'd have advised you to stick with the tried and true ad networks (namely, Google AdWords).

@ TerjeSannarnes - Got yah! thanks for clarifying that. I know of those 1 click 1000 directories they are not worth it as they raise to many red flag. I usually build and limit my links to around 50 - 150 links using special tools that used private IP.
But I tend to frown away from site that use captcha to time consuming :).

Actually I mean automatic submission that is submission to 1000 directories via one click only. But, I don't mind submitting via special tools which are designed to simplify the process of submission. I mean programs which fills in the required fields of submission with the necessary information, but the process of entring CAPCHA should remain to be manual. It is a self-automatic software and I don't mind using it.
