I just signed up to Adsubmitter (having difficulties registering which I will call them about during the day). I'm also looking at similar services. Are these worth it for getting ads distributed far & wide on sites where they will be seen? Also, while I paid a one time fee, the terms talk about recurring charges which are not specified- can I use Adsubmitter successfully without incurring such charges? What other services are available which will give me good service in distributing my ads & business info? Thanks.
@terjesannarnes I tend to disagree using an automation tool that knows what they are doing could be benificial but ofcourse moderation is the key. If you can manually post 100 per month as you say. You should use automation slowly to begin with and slowly build it up. 10 per day then increase it. Also choice automation tool that support spin tags and private IP capability to make the link more organic and natural.

i think promotions of services through articles are also a good way , one can write articles or buy from any professional service, and submitting it to high PR articles site like buzzle or ezinearticles can be a great way to promote service...

I also doesn't support an idea of using automatic website submission tools. Of course posting in such a way it is possible minimize the efforts of marketers and time signifficantly. However, search engines often treat suspiciously to unusually quick increase of link popularity and can even penalty websites. So, I think that it is better to perform up to 100 posts manually during a month rather then make 1000 automatic submissions within a day.
As you have paid a one time fee, then surely you can use Adsubmiter, and like you are talking for recurring charges that is for those who want to reuse again for another ads they can pay recurring charges.
I will be interested in hearing how this works out for you. I haven't had much luck with these types of businesses before. But I am confident that I just haven't found the good ones. Please keep me posted on this.
If you are using any company which deploys automatic promotion techniques such as automatic submission to directories or automatic banner advertising then it will only have adverse affects on your SEO.
Search engines hate automated promotion techniques and always encourage webmasters to promote their businesses using natural promotion techniques. If this company uses some kind of automatic promotion technique then you could be inviting trouble for your website.
You can start off by setting up Google Adwords account for your own website and see how your website performs on search engines. Within a month you will get to see how many clicks your website generated and how many sales/queries you received. I would recommend you promote your business first on search engines through Google Adwords or Yahoo PPC.

Well, what happened was that it turned out that it was a 'one-time charge' PER MONTH. First we thought we'd give it a month, submitted an ad a day- and then would try to find the ads submitted to the other sites.
The ad on Inetgiant would appear but we couldn't find the others (Inetgiant owns Adsubmitter). Fortunately, after a week, they did refund our money & end our membership, so I will say that for them.
Sometimes these types of companies do not work due to the policies of the sites against automatic posting which can get your website banned. Also, most of the time there are only a few places that are really worth posting on due to the search volume of the websites. In my experience, I have found higher search volume websites to be craigslist, backpage, kijiji. You also may be able to find a local classified ad website in your area.
The best way to see if Adsubmitter is a good company is to look at truthful reviews on the internet. I saw a posting on ripoffreport.com about the company but it was a few years old.
It may just be better submit the ads yourself or to hire a virtual assistant to post the ad for you.

It also depends on why you're using these services. Is it a budget consideration?
G's adwords program is a pretty comprehensive advertising medium and you can set your budget to prevent blow outs. It's not cheap unless you really choose your keywords well, but it does have a lot of potential for driving sales whwn used right.
You can also use places like clixgalore as a secondary advertiser. You can set a CPC budge, upload your ads and set your conditions (such as advertisising on only sites in certain categories, accepting only traffic from certain geographic areas and so on to prevent abuse. they will then make the ads available to the publisher network. You can either manually approve applications to use your ads or make tha acceptance automatic if they fit the set criteria.

You are lucky that they refunded your money. Are there any sites out there that will help a person with their advertising like this one was suppose to do.
