I have read a lot of information regarding foreign-owned business in the USA, however I can't find the answer to my specific question.
I know of a company which is owned by a person that is neither a citizen of the US or holds any type of US visa. He travels to the USA several times a year to visit clients, conduct business, oversee operations, hire personnel, etc. While in the US he stays in an apartment which is paid for by the company (year-around) and drives a car owned by the company. He draws 'per-diem' while in the US as well.
Is this legal? He enters the US by means of a visitor visa (he holds both British & Australian citizenship).
