We are starting an internet based company that will provide computer application development to our clients. My question is where/how we should register the business. It will have two members, one living in Massachusetts and the other in Oregon. Our clients will hopefully be from all over the states. We are leaning towards forming an LLC, but would we have to form them in both states? Would we have to both pay taxes in both states? Could we form in state like Nevada, and then just individually take care of our taxes in our home states, or would we still have to form foreign entity LLC in our home states? I'm pretty confused about all of this. Thanks for your help.
