Hi Erin, Try the site's Loans and Grants Search Engine -- you input some criteria that applies to you, and then you'll get a list of Federal and state financing programs for which you might qualify. SBA is one source for financing, but there are also guaranteed loan programs provided by state and local economic development agencies.

Start by contacting your local small business development center.....just search for your state followed by SBDC.   They should be able to aid you in putting together a complete package to take to a lender.  They will not do it for you, but will guide you and provide assistance.   Also, the government extremely rarely is involved in direct lending, perhaps what you mean is an SBA Guaranteed Loan.  If this is the case you could visit SBA.gov and search for their Resource Guide for your state- it should contain a list of SBA participating lenders in your area.    Best of luck.
