I am new to starting my own business and have so many questions. I was a cook
for years and changed professions. I now have decided with my sister-in-law
to start a small business. We want to start in one of our homes. What do we
need exactly to get up and rolling. I have obtained a food server lic. and
tax ID what else is needed can anyone help?

You will need a commercial kitchen and they can be expensive to establish.
You may want to contact your local health department to find out what
regulations and licensing requirements you will need to comply with. As
JGabriel mentioned, a counselor at a small business development center or
SCORE office can help you through the process.
