I've recently been approved for an SBA loan for a new chiropractic office. However, after closing my loan my landlord has updated the buildout terms for considerable increase in time and costs. I felt compelled to look at other office space availability and have found a space that will require considerably less buildout costs and is just a better location overall. My question is regarding the rules of an SBA loan and revisiting the proposed location. I have asked the bank to look into the matter but am still waiting for a response. I need to know if the terms of the SBA loan will impede me from pursuing a new location. Thanks for any insight.
