I live in California. I am a Owner/Operator of a Trucking Company. Currently an 'S Corp.', changing to 'Sole Prop'. I need advice/help on what forms to complete for the Secretary of State, and how to complete them.
We own a small roofing business in California that we want to change from a
sole prop. to an LLC .
I've been told we can't but I wanted to check with the experts on this
first.. Can this be done?

You have to file article of conversion to switch over from an S-Corporation to a Sole Proprietor. You can either prepare your own article of can retain a professional to do it for you.
