We are looking at closing up our Small Business. Does anyone have a list of items that we need to follow when closing a Corporation in the State of Alabama? Maybe a website that goes over the legal requirements would be helpful.

Thank you for posting your question. I'm sorry to hear you will be closing your small business. Unfortunately this is a very popular question and one where we hope to provide more information on Business.gov soon.
I suggest visiting SBA.gov for information on exit strategies and closing your business. You may also consider contacting your local SBA Field Office in Alabama for any specific steps there might be for Alabama.
I also suggest this checklist provided by the IRS that provides steps for closing a business.
