The business I keep books for is converting from an LLC to an S-Corporation effective on April 1, 2009. My question is, at years end, will we have to file returns for both LLC (closed March 31) and for the S-Corporation(started April1)?
Can we make the S-Corporations start date January 1 retroactively?
