Creating a website is not difficult at all. In fact, it’s rather easy, when
you think about it. There was a time when you had to know HTML and some
programming before you could make a website that was half way decent. Putting
shopping carts on your site and a means by which customers could pay by
credit card, often called for you to obtain expert help. However, today
things have changed dramatically and with them the difficulty involved in
developing a business website. Let me show you why.
The introduction of blogging platforms and software like Word Press, has made
it possible for one to put up a highly professional looking web site in a
matter of minutes. Word Press offers you a wide variety of site designs or
themes that you can use to quickly create the overall look and feel of your
site. Simply choose the design that matches the way you want your site to
look and your almost done. In addition to this, the designs, themselves, are
highly adjustable. Most give you the ability to change the color of your site
design, the size and types of fonts, its header, etc. In short, you’re
provided the ability to create a site that is uniquely yours and reflects the
image you want to present to your customers and the world.
Likewise, Word Press also offers you the ability to use plugins with your
site. What are Plugins? They are tiny programs that gives your site
additional functions. For instance, plugins give you the ability to add a
shopping cart to your site, google analytics, sitemaps, contact forms, video,
music, etc. In short, they give you the ability to develop a truly
professional site in terms of look and its ability to engage your visitors.
Along with this, Word Press tends to be stable across most platforms. This
means that it’s themes or web site designs tend to maintain their look and
functioning abilities from web browser to web browser. This, however, is not
always the case with websites that have been created using web site creation
software like front page

bit of reading to get a website up and running. Shopping carts can still be
VERY difficult to get everything right on, from the postage, to the look and
feel.
The main issue today, is that google has made it much harder to get your site
found with many updates such as panda and penguin that discounted a lot of
off page and on page seo work that sole operators did. Researching and
keeping up to date with what google likes IS a full time job. No point having
the best looking website in the world, that doesn't rank and people cant
find.

But, in fact the most important part is how can you use it effectively?
