Hi everybody,I´m Dutch and I live in Spain, where I work for a Spanish company. We make websites and we´re planning to expand our business across the Spansh border. Within Europe there in harly any problem (thanks to the European Union and the "free trade"), but we also want to expand to the other site of the ocean: to the USA.We have contacts, but it´s stil not very clear how we can "export" a product that is not really touchable, e.g. a website...Maybe somebody has experience with this? Looking forward to hear something.Thank you very much,Lenny

I'm doing research. India has definitely developed a online presence, along
with some Asian companies so this may not be to hard to do. If they can do
it, then you can do it.
I think the key for you is to concentrate on online SEO for the united
states. This is BIG! Don't bother with any other advertising. Since you
already develop websites I think you're halfway there. Develop a good site
for yourself and promote, promote, promote.
It'll take alot of hard work but a well design website along with proper
search engine optimization will get you far.
Due to the time difference between Spain and the US, you may have to have
somebody up at night. :->

pricing tends to be more reasonable than that of U.S. web developers.
However, there are different issues American consumers come across with
overseas help such as unresponsiveness, communication, and time difference.
You can advertise and offer your website development business here through
various websites such as Joomla.org or ODesk.com or optimize your website to
U.S. to reach the market here.
Just keep in mind to address those issues I mentioned in your advertisement
or marketing as they tend to be a very important factor for us U.S. customers
in choosing the right development company. Good luck.

currently doing, if you create a website then this can be hosted anywhere in
the world, as long as US customers are looking for the same type of things
that the Spanish are, you should have no problem.
