Dear Sir,

 

I have foreign buyer from China and Japan. I have the specifications and quantities they required. They will send me the ICPO and Letter of Intent.

I am seeking on how can I contact Crude Oil company here who will work with me to secure the order. I am new in this field. I will work on commission.

What is the steps to connecting the buyer and seller in the crude oil brokering business.

How can I overcome the big companies who will eventually leaving me out of the business and avoid paying me commission.

The Oil and Gas Industry is highly regulated and I suggest you research the environmental, trade, and tariff regulations first.

Thank you NicoleD. I understand the regulations imposed on the crude oil due to environment concerns which is a good regulation. My questions is I am seeking company who are in a position to export crude oil to China and Japan to work with me to secure the order which my buyer are interested to import.I have their specifications for 200,000 tons cif Shanghai,China and Tokyo,Japan. Thanks for clarifying. Business.gov doesn't provide business matchmaking services, but you can check out Business.gov's Exporting Guide for Small Businesses. Perhaps someone with expertise in exporting to Asia can chime in with some tips... in the meantime, members in another thread commented on ways to network for overseas business opportunities.

given the recent BP environmental catastrophe, there are likley to be some changes in the legislation surrounding this type of business - it's d be well worth keeping an eye on this as I'd expect compliance costs to rise significantly.

You have to first have the specifications and terms of your buyers before the logistics of how to ho confirm the order

most importantly the required order to supply your partners might not come form the US market, it can be out sourced ?? That was how I handled an order like that

Hi Sunny, Don't bother wasting your time as this venture will never be successful. I have many friends who have tried to broker such deals and it always ends in tears. J
