Customer injured at my business...

I will be brief. I own a martial arts facility. One of my students was injured by someone falling into their knee. He is asking for assistance with paying his medical bills. I am a compassionate person, but this is my 1st yr of being open and have yet to break even. So financially I am not in a position to help. Also, the risk wavier he signed has been misplaced and I have yet to find it, probably due to a poor filing system when the business first started. How or where do I find a specific Florida law that protects me from such an event?
Thank you all in advance for your help.

will protect you from having to pay out of your pocket in the future. Also,
considering you lost the waiver, it may be best to rethink your filing
system. I would keep paper records on file, but also keep a copy on your
computer and ensure that you have a good back up system in place (such as
utilizing the cloud). This will protect you from loss in the future.
