Good morning,
I am hoping that you can assist me by responding to the four questions below.
I am in the process of building a short course (workshop variety) detailing
KSAs needed for entry level type work and what industries/occupations a young
worker (or adult) may consider if post-secondary education is not a
possibility. I am surveying the HR and small business community.
1) What positions are you aware of that would consider someone from age 18
and up with only a HS education?
My course will include also personal and professional skills that would
enhance one's opportunity so the next question is
2) What are specific position related skills would you, as the expert, feel
one should have to be more marketable?
I am also going to add what one should do within these entry level/getting
started type positions (work & education) as time goes on to add to their
career portfolio and would like to know
3) What do you look for in talent within your current personnel at your
particular work setting?
Finally, I do plan to use wording such as, "Based on a recent survey of HR
and Small Business professionals...".
4) Do you have any issues with me using this information to help guide
someone in a career/professional development course?
In advance, thank you and have a super great day.
