I started an S-Corp in Louisiana in 2000 which was suggested by my accountant in order to protect me from a major lawsuit and help with taxes while I drove over the road as an owner operator but recently dissolved it since I now live in Texas and am moving towards the Crude Oil hauling business that allows me to be home more often and make a good income as a company driver. What options do I have besides going to the bank and applying for a loan based on collateral? I will need a used truck that could cost upwards of $50,000 or more with added equipment and that's not counting the cost of a Crude Oil special tanker trailer that costs $100,000 or more brand new. However, most lease companies in the industry offer a percentage compensation program while charging for the use of there Crude Oil trailer or other equipment.
