Hello. I would like to Set up a new trading and investment company (
C-corporation ) in Los Angeles, CA.
The Activity is to invest and buy products from Asean Country and sell them
mostly to China.
The Los Angeles Office just handle the paper work ( Financial and Legal
document )
Most transaction use Letter of Credit as a payment method. Daily Operation
will be taken care by site office in Asean Country. Reason to buy and to sell
products in Asian is the high profit and we have abundant experience.
My question is as follows :
Is this new company eligible to get a SBA loan / debt financing loan / equity
financing room / VC ? Or how to get an investor ? Please send me your
suggestion to chen_corp@live.com. Thank you very much.

buying product in an Asian country to sell in China, there is no need to open
an office in the US. If your customers are paying with a commercial letter of
credit, then you can probably get a bank to discount that LC and get cash
quickly. The financing need occurs if your vendor requires payment upfront.
Your best bet is a financial institution in the country where you are buying
the product, and friends/family for the original investment. A domestic US
lender, which are the ones that work with the SBA, would have little to no
appetite for this type of credit.
