Opening an adult novelty store, need distributor......

I am planning to open an adult novelty store but I'm wondering if any distributor would merchandize my store with a 60 day credit. I'm trying not to use all my money if I don't have to. Any tips?

I would recommend showing potential distributors your experience in the field
and if you have any credit verification's that display your previous credit
terms with other distributors. Otherwise go to a local community development
center. They might be able assist you with third-party financing.

It is very hard for suppliers to provide trade credit to new businesses - especailly given this down market. But, you never now - you just have to keep asking them. Maybe they have programs for new businesses or may be willing to take a chance on you if your story is compelling enough. There could be other ways like non-bank lending that could get you the capital you need for your inventory.

Although the article is intended for those with financial troubles, there are several alternative financing options that can be taken advantage of by all businesses. Does anyone else have any experience or advice that might be of help?
