Being first on any search engine sure help especially Bing and Yahoo are the top 3 I would say. Google might dominate 60% of the entire search engine traffic, but still there are 40% for you to capture :)

Being on First page of yahoo and Bing might not seem to bring you a lot of visitore still getting ranked on top of Yahoo and Bing does get you a lot publicity where Bing usually get syou targeted traffic and most of them buyers.

Obviously, only 58% of people all around the world use google and not 100%. So, you can imagine how much traffic will you get!!! Moreover, if you get ranked at the top of Bing and Yahoo, definitely you'll be some near of the top of google....
