first identify your target market before wasting your time and money on
trying to get customers, clients or patients through the door. I walk every
client through this very critical step.
Together, my clients and I create a very detail oriented profile of their
ideal customer, because if we do not know who the ideal customer is, then how
are we supposed to know how to market to them?
If you're message is broad and intended for everybody, then it will appeal to
nobody. You need to speak directly to your target market but before you can
do that, you need to know exactly who your target market is.
Once you have your target market identified, then you can use tried and true
marketing/advertising strategies to target that market. Facebook ads does a
great job of allowing you to target a person based on demographics,
geographics and psychographics.
Also, never spend money on an advertising campaign that cannot be accurately,
reliably and quickly measured. Think of the phonebook as an example of
wasting your money.
If you did a good job creating a profile(s) of your hungry buying audience,
then you should have no problem putting together an effective marketing
campaign in facebook, that will drive traffic to your facebook business page,
where you can establish a relationship with them and then eventually sell
them on your products or services.
